PLG-12 Laboratory Hydraulic Press
Designation and purpose
The press is designed to create a force (load) up to 12 tons. It is used for the manufacture of samples of various materials during physicochemical studies. In particular, it is used to prepare samples for X-ray spectral fluorescence analysis (XRF) or FTIR spectroscopy.
It is designed specifically to equip production analytical and research laboratories.
It can be supplied in set with die sets of the required diameter, or rectangular section. For the most part of materials, 12 tons force is enough to press the sample whose area does not exceed 7–8 cm2.
Advantages
- Reliable and easy to operate.
- Maximum force 12 tons (120 kN) with table dimensions.
- Safety valve rules out the possibility of exceeding the maximum allowable pressure.
- The pressure gauge is installed via a quick-release coupling, which provides an easy replacement of the pressure gauge, replacement of the pressure gauge with a device with a lower limit of measurement or with a digital indication device.
- Grooves on the press table position the die sets along the axis of the load application.
- Automatic piston returning to its original position after force removing.
- Die sets are made of special tool steel tempered to 60 HRC and do not add its material during pressing, ensuring the reliability of the analysis results.
