Noncollapsible die sets of rectangular section
Designation
Often, during mechanical tests, the rectangular section samples are required. Our company produces die sets for extrusion of rectangular samples of any section with sides of the range from 3 to 50 mm, with a step of 0.1 mm.
Advantages
- Made of durable tool steel. Hardness 60 HRC.
- Stopper and punch work surface grinding (Ra0.08) provides an ideal sample surface and eliminates sample sticking on the ends of the punches.
- In the design of die sets with small sections (S<0.2 cm2), a guide sleeve is provided, which ensures parallelism of the punch and stopper ends at the moment of force creating, with possible non-parallelism of the planes of the upper and lower pressure plates of the press. Thus, the risk of damage and deformation of the punch during pressing is reduced.
