Die sets for pressing into reusable steel rings

Die sets for pressing into reusable steel rings

Designation

During X-ray fluorescence analysis (RSFA) of raw materials and products of mining, glass industry, as well as semi-products of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy technological processes, the problem of obtaining pellet samples with a diameter of 32 mm and more often arises. Samples with a large area of such low-ductile materials like clinker, cement, slag, sludge, ores, ferroalloys, and oxides are often difficult to press.

One of the methods of samples obtaining that are not susceptible to destruction is pressing of worn sample into a steel ring. In addition, it is convenient to work with the obtained sample on X - Ray fluorescence spectrometers equipped with an automatic sample feed.

Advantages

  • Made of durable tool steel. Hardness 60 HRC.
  • Does not “infect” the sample (does not add its own material).
  • Work surface grinding (Ra0.08) provides an ideal sample surface and eliminates sample sticking on the ends of the punches.
  • Die set design ensures the accurate removal of the finished sample.

Calibers

Die sets for molding into steel rings with external diameters of 30, 32, 40 mm are standardly manufactured. The height of the rings - 14 mm. At the request of the customer the die sets can be made for molding into rings of any diameter.

Supply package

  • ready-assembled die set;
  • top stopper;
  • rings for sample pressing (quantity is determined by the customer);
  • instruction manual.
